I swear, all I wanted was to swap some BTC into XMR — nothing crazy, like a hundred bucks. Logged into one of the usual big-name platforms and boom: “Please upload a government-issued ID,” then “Take a selfie holding today’s date,” then “Wait 24 hours for manual review.” Felt like I was applying for a visa, not trading crypto.
