Thanks to all for help with recent starter issue-this problem now fixed. Starter motor was finally removed and a short in winding repaired. Special thanks to DT and Dyck.
I have car in local repair shop as it is running rough. Their opinion is that the carb need a complete overhaul. It is the original Solex unit. Anybody know who supplies the rebuild kit for this?
