It sounds as though these cars have rusted in all the usual places. I could not fault you for being tempted as these cars are beautiful practical cars when properly put together. I brought my own coupe over from England where I first obtained it some 35 years ago. Replacement body/structural parts are hard to get and some are of questionable quality. Doing the metal repairs can be very labor-intensive and expensive.
However, you may well end up with a very rare and satisfying car that commands great attention everywhere. Great advice on buying all three and selling off parts to help finance project. IF YOU DECIDE TO RESTORE ONE OF THESE I SUGGEST YOU DO IT ONCE AND DO IT RIGHT. Remember, this is not like many othar American[and European]cars where a vast after market supply network exists.
