Dear Mr. Ellinsky:
For some time I have intended to write and tell you how pleased I am with the performance of the Borgward Isabella, which was purchased from you in January. In April and May, with about 3000 miles on the car, my wife and I made a 7000 mile trip to the Southwest and return. Since that time enough mileage has been added to bring the total to nearly 15,000. Of course this is not much in the life of the car, but it is the first car that I have driven that far and for that length of time without having trouble of one kind or another. Except for some minor difficulty with the spark plugs, which was promptly taken care of by the Borgward agency in San Antonio, the car has required no attention other than routine lubrication and oil changes.
While on our trip we drove over desert and mountain roads, some of them in very poor condition, as well as through heavy rains and high water that was prevalent at that time. It was a great relief to us to find that there were no leaks around or under the doors or in the rear compartment, as had been the case with other cars which we have driven.
I am looking forward to many more miles of trouble-free performance and judging by the present condition of the car, I do not expect to be disappointed.
With best wishes for your continued success, I am
Very sincerely yours
