Thanks for your quick response. Are you a parts supplier or simply another Borgward fanatic? Either way, I appreciate your help. Closer inspection of my cable reveals that a threaded barrel-type coupling may have simply become undone. I will know more once we get the car up on a hoist. My car is a1960 coupe[right-hand drive] and was extensively restored in England about 10 years ago. Please advise on the price of the handbrake cable you have and are willing to sell. At this point I am not exactly sure if I need this or not. The cable was replaced during renovation and maybe can be fixed. Also, do you have many other parts for this car?
