Dear Mr. Dube,
Permit me to express my complete satisfaction with the new Borgward I recently purchased from you.
The car is well engineered, and because of the meticulous craftsmanship in construction, the annoying leaks, rattles and squeaks one has come to expect in new automobiles are non-existent. It wasn’t necessary to come in for even a minor adjustment. These facts certainly reflect great care on the part of the manufacturer.
Since I have always owned and driven only cars in the Packard and Chrysler class, I must confess I was somewhat skeptical as to the performing qualities of the “Isabella” on longer trips. It was my intention to buy economy in operation and I was willing to sacrifice some comfort in riding to attaint it. However, since making a number of trips in the “TS” this summer, I have found that in performance and handling as well as the restful ride afforded both, passengers and driver, it equals any heavier car I have owned. Consequently, since the Borgward has at least fulfilled every claim made by you for it (even surpassing, e.g. in gas mileage) I find myself an enthusiastic Borgward owner, and want to compliment you on the excellence of the automobile you sold me.
Please feel free to make use of all or part of this letter in promoting the more widespread use of the Borgward, because I feel that you will be doing a service to anyone who purchases one from you.
Sincerely,
Leonard A. T-----
