Fifty-five minute video from Nov 1966 shot at Korat and centered on the 388th TFS.

Good vid with scenes of strike missions over NVN, Air to Air refueling and many scenes on the base: flight line, O-Club, Wing Command Post, barracks, strike briefings including weather, auditorium where the Commander's 5 o'clock briefing was held. 100 Mission Parade and lots of candid footage and dialogue. Some of the dialogue is hard to understand but you'll get the gist of it if not every word. I see at the end it was an official USAF production - I wondered about the access they had to some classified sections so that explains it- all shot with permission.
Shot at Korat but mirrored much of my experiences and time at Taklhi 69-70 as Weather Briefer for the F-105 and EB-66 crews.
Wish similar existed for Takhli but this is a good approximation. Boy, those bush hats, mustaches, reed mats, EOT Parade, the whole "feel" seems familiar even 58 years later. The 388th rotated from McConnell to Taklhi in March 1966 and the pilots were in heavy action over NVN right after they arrived.
