The 355th Fighter Group Associan - made up mostly of Takhli vets who served with the 355 from 1965 to 1970 - held a reunion in Tucson two weeks ago from Feb 2th to March 5th, 2024 with the Vicsount Suites hotel as our base of operations and Davis-Monthan AFB as host for our vist to see the Heritage Flight Demo teams doing their spring training.
It was another good event put on by the Board -- mainly Mike Dunn, Bill Cook and Carl Juszczak. The group toured Old Tucson then Sabino Canyon on Thurs and Fri. Saturday was our day at Davis-Monthan. The banquet Sunday night closed things out.
Here is a photo album of my activities that week - I started with a visit on my own to the Pima Air Museu. The group hit Pima in 2016 but I did not so I was doing some catch up. I missed Old Tucson but did the Sabino Canyon Tour.

A serious amateur photograhper was at the Heritage Flight Demo training he has pro-quality shots of the Warbirds old and new and some of the aerial acts. KT Moore was the photographer and he generously place his work online for all to view and share. I thank him for providing a great record the D-M Training 2024.
The WW II warbirds are P-51s and a P-38. The modern aricraft are F-35s, F-22s, A-10s and F-16s .
