Mike Dunn has posted the details for the 355th Fighter Group Association reunion. The reunion will be held in Tucson with some events on Davis-Monthan AFB from Feb 28th to March 4th, 2024.
A full sked of great activities is planned. As ususal the dates will coincide with the Heritage Flight vintage aircraft on static display and the acft will take part in flying demos. We get access to the flight line and a VIP Tent. Hey, even a couple of burger burns.
The 355th Wing will be ending its long run at D-M with retirement of the A-10s. The Base has been a great host for many past reunions and a strong turnout would be a great way to thank them.
There will be charter bus visits to D-M, the Sabino Cannyon Wildlife area and Old Tucson. Free hotel breakfast each day and a closing banquet Sunday eveening with color guard, awards and a guest speaker. Always a good time when the 355th gets together.
Mike Dunn has posted a reminder about the 2024 Reunon in Tucson:
"If any one is interested in attending our 2024 reunion in Tucson. You should get your invite in before running out of time. Send me a private message with your email address and I will send you the invite in Word and PDF."
I just printed off the reservation form and will fill it out today and send it so I have a place at the table and get on the flightline at DM for the Heritage group demos and warbird static displays. The reunion group gets special treatment by the Wing at DM and that Wing will be closing out so it's not for sure we'll be back at Davis Monthan- we've had a good run ther for years.

Getting near the date to make your plans and reservations for the 2024 Reunion in Tucson. See the message just above this one for the daily schedule of events. The highlight is the closing banquet and the time on the flight line at Davis-Monthan to walk the line of warbirds old and new and see the Heritage Flight Training session - an Air Show in itself
I have my hotel reservations, still mulling whether to drive , take Amtrak or fly to Tucson. I'll be there by one of those modes, tending to drive in order to have wheels and see some of the country on the way. I drove trucks cross -country for fourteen years , lef that work in 2015 but miss the open road of the western states so that has some appeal.

Shot in the dark. Anyone have pics of the large banner hung on the hangars when the 355th returned to McConnell?
