What happened when I applied for benefits under the PACT Act

I applied 8 August 2022 for benefits. VA says to apply ASAP, so I did.

I sent my orders to Takhli, DD 214, NGB Form 22, letter awarding RVN Service Medal and medical paperwork for claims.

Today I received a letter from the VA saying I need to submit paperwork proving I was IN Vietnam and documents to prove I was exposed to Agent Orange.

At least they gave me 30 days to prove what the PACT Act makes presumptive.

I bet I'm not the only one.

OOPS! 4 August, not 8 August.

I called the VA and basically got the same message.They did say they would indicate on my claim that I was not in RVN, I was in Thailand.

If they had read my claim, that fact would have been obvious.
