I have not gone there since 1968-69 but if you go to Goggle Maps and type in Takhli you can actually take a virtual drive around town. Pretty cool deal. Hi, I'm looking for anyone that was stationed at Takhli with my uncle, John Dudash, he was shot down 4/26/67 over Haiphong. Check out page 5 "Return to Takhli" where I explain what I saw. As an aside I went back to NKP in 2013 to relive my days in USSAG/7AF in 73/74. Wow ZERO left, nothing. I did not go exploring in the jungle so I was not able to ID even slabs. The city was much the same minus the bars. Did meet a woman who ran a "steak house" that overlooked the Makong much as my old fav PSBEER back in the day. She knew my friend Heinie Aderholt from working with him a number of years ago helping the Hmong. Small world.
