steve a lawyer charges nothing to look at your case. he will check out your records and let you know if you have a case. and if he takes the case he only gets paid if he wins. check with Susie for a good lawyer. good luck.
Reading the " Yuku Vets " which is a disability forum website. Its mention many times that the lawyer gets paid from your retro va check. So the lawyers don't really push the appeals to the BVA as the more time it takes, the more money they receive from the retro check if you win. You may want to go to this site and check it out.
