I was stationed at Takhli from 28 Jan 66 to 21 Jan 67. I worked in the squadron orderly room and was responsible for the Awards and Decorations committeefor all the pilots. I would love to here from any of the men who may possible remember me. I fondly remember many of the brave pilots who gave so much for us at that time. Officers like Col wayne (deceased) Col Conley who was killed on the day I retuned home, Capt. Bob Steiner, Lt. Keith (Nick)Lacey, Lt.Mike Brazelton who was the first pilot we lost, Lt. Ron Bliss (deceased). There were so many fond memories I have of that year and I can honestly say that it was the finest year of my Air Force service. I would like to possible here from some of the guys I worked with like Mike Hamm who I came over with from McConnell, Dayna Zayner, Jim Williams, Jim Templeton. The 357th TFS was a great group and Lt. Bliss in a letter I received from him when he returned from being a POW "we took a lot of hits and most made it back, but the one's who didn't will always be in our hearts". May God Bless all the great men and women who served and stay safe.
