Good news about the 355th/Takhli reunion. More later on hotel booking but this is enough to get you started - dates and activities. I plan to attend.

WASHINGTON REUNION UPDATE – ANYONE CAN ATTEND



Arrive on Wednesday, 9 Sept and depart on the 13th – Sunday.

We do not have the contract signed with the hotel yet but that will be done in the next couple of days.


We will go to a few places on Thursday – Arlington Cemetery, Vietnam Wall, AF Memorial and WW II Memorial plus, probably, a couple other places yet to be decided on. SUGGESTIONS ARE MORE THAN WELCOME.


We will spend Friday at the STEVEN F. UDVAR-HAZY CENTER – the “new” Smithsonian aviation museum..


Except for our Board and Membership Meetings (355th FGA), Saturday will be open until activities resume at 6 PM – Social Hour and then Dinner.

We need to get a good count of those planning to attend. We are asking for 50 rooms to be held – DO WE NEED MORE ? Please e-mail bigbill355fa@aol.com if you are sure you are coming.


Hotel will be close to $124 per night with a $12 a day parking fee if you drive. We hope to keep the reunion cost around $175 per person attending. Oh yes, Hospitality Suite each night – beverages and snacks provided.
