I was sent TDY to Takhli for 135 days on 12 August 1965 from McConnell AFB, Kansas. Returned to McConnell and about July 1966 received order for a 1 year tour back to Takhli from in Sept 1966 to 1967. Before leaving the States I got married; learned the wife was pregnant and requested a Curtailment base on her pregnancy, approved and left Takhli in April 1967 PCS to Eglin AFB, Florida where my son was born in July 1967. I was a SSGT in the A. G. E. shop. Retired as a Chief Master Sergeant (E-9) in June 1883 from Hill AFB where I was again with the 355th.
