Does anyone know anything about the new process when asking for a "board review"? I have been going back and forth with the VA for years and each time I think everything is submitted and shouldn't be a problem being approved. The last two times especially..

My VSO, Texas Veteran's Commission, finally told me the last time I got the denial letter we should just file a direct appeal for a board hearing. He said to skip the appeal to a higher authority. So that is what I or rather he did.

His information was it could be several months to a year before the hearing. Has anyone or do you know of anyone who has recently tried to get a hearing before an officer?
