Re: Agent Orange Exposure
Linda, The Air Force denies Agent Orange being in Thailand, except for original tests of that defoliant. They do admit to herbicides being used on the perimeter of the bases. Forget AO your target is herbicide exposure and you MUST establish that your husband worked, played or lived near the perimeter. As a ground equipment person he may well have been delivering different types of equipment near the perimeter. Possibly lights and other power units to the trim pads and various other areas on or near the perimeter. Steve has a point and perhaps Carl is a better one to answer his statement, but to my thinking the people who write "buddy letters" should take the extra effort and have them notarized. I know a notarization only proves the person signed it in front of a notary public, but think about what that means. It was signed as a statement in front of a public official. A claim can and have been won for exposure to herbicides in Thailand, it takes a lot of effort....I know first hand. LouB.
