Knew your dad very well and worked directly for him and most of the other L&R seaters. Drew some of his flight plans and TFR predictions. Was in 430TFS intell and knew him way back to when he flew with Capt. Brownell as his Nav and after when Brett came on. Used to see him every day and went over many flight plans and targeting. You dad was everything you'd expect a fighter pilot to be and "wild bill" nickname was no understatement. IIRC He was both fearless and fearsome (and let me know it). In my old age i think of him and all the others like Ward, McElvain and Caffarelli. FWIW I still have the ex -AF Chevy PU i had way back then and will be restoring it in AF style and may add all the names of those I knew. You DAd kidded me about it back when and kinda why i hung onto it these 48+ years. Take care
