Re: Phase Inspector Crew B-66 RTAFB Takhli 1966
Mary, I've done alot of work on AO claims at different Thai bases. What I'm hearing from vso people, buddy letters are good but for a buddy letter to work they have to have proof whats in the buddy letter. As you know, anyone can write a letter and say anything, proofs in the pudding. Trouble with proving AO on the base besides the perimeter, unless you have a picture of that person next to the drums the VA probably will not care. You have to show proof you were direct exposed, like standing next to them. A picture of AO drums show no direct exposure. I would still work on finding pictures where your husband worked near the perimeter. How close were the airplanes to the perimeter. I know you have to work every angle, good luck.
