Mary, i would type in VA citition appeals on the web, then once there, type Takhli under exact words, where you can read how flightline personal are winning or losing their claims based on what proof they submit working on the flightline. I was at Udorn and helped some vets with their claims. Lucky Udorn has some good maps and photos to use for location of aircraft as to the perimeter. If your husband worked on certain types of aircraft, you have to show where they were located in relation to the perimeter. When reading appeals where the vet wins, try to see what aircraft they worked on and how they were able to show its location to the perimeter. There were many flightline locations like trim pads, taxiways, and etc where crews worked on aircraft near the perimeter. If someone worked on a certain type of aircraft your husband worked on and got approved , use that info as proof that those aircraft were parked near the perimeter. Like a giant puzzle and your looking for any helpful pieces for your claim. Wish I could help more, bottom line for the VA is, proof your husband worked on aircraft near the perimeter. Its so hard to get info from 45 years ago.
