I wonder if the benefit that Bob is talking about could help you in any way...
It's called Aid and Attendance.. I believe the only drawback would be that you can't own property...but I don't know for certain.

I think for Thailand exposure.. the condition has to be one of those listed on the approval
However, it looks like to a certain degree you should have been entitled to something there...
The physician would need to write a letter to the VA letting them know that your condition is related to prostate cancer...and if he could do that.. the VA should have paid you benefits until you got better.. at which point they would pull the benefits back... for Prostate Cancer that is how they work.. they pay during the illness and treatment then once you have improved they pull the benefits back... for that certain condition..
