The current switch track behind the cks tool place or I think it's brings tool now is the remnants of the old gtw connection to the C&O in bad axe. If you go on the switch track behind the tool shop now you will find that it runs a short ways straight west and curves into a rail repair yard and ends before the rail crosses the street. Well where the line curves there used to be a Wye that turned out to the south to head towards Cass city and a turn out to the North that crossed the road went up to the depot and behind where the library is now and then turned west and ran along side the street in front of where the jail is now. Sum body told me it was an oldc A&P wheelhouse that the tracks ran up to along the street . if I was in my vehicle I could show you quite a few spots where the line crossed the side roads along the way to Cass city. It crossed m-53 just north of Ritter rd. On m-53 up until recently the road bed used to run at an angle in a farmers field before crossing m-53 but it has since been plowed under. You still see where it crossed Ritter rd. And went back into the woods headed for Cass city
