Later in the early 1960's crews on the local freight on the ex LS&MS Ypsi branch between Bridgewater (west of Saline) and Ypsi were based out of Hillsdale and drive to Ypsi six months of the year and train crews based out of Detroit and the engine crews out of Jackson, MI other six months of the year.
