John, both the GTW and the NYC had spurs going into the fort. GTW's came off their pre-1906 mainline alignment and entered the area east of the airport and Helmer Rd. I'm not sure if this was fort property but it served the fort traffic from there. NYC had a spur off their mainline just west of Helmer Rd. and went up a steep hill to the northeast side of the fort not far from the present TV station studio on Dickman Road. In earlier times, the interurban served the fort as well but, by WWII, it was gone. Mark Worrall has lots of good info on this subject
