Has anyone on here ever noticed part of the old ROW is still visible alongside 12 ace if u turn south off of sanborn ave. in port Huron just south of the parking lot behind the church there is a section of road end u can still see running along side 12th age tight where the tracks came out and ran down the center of what is now 12th ave. and also on 12th ave. on the other side of the blue water bridge where m96 connects to military st. U can see the grade crossing the lawn on the south side of the rd.and there is a lil fence there that has 2 doors that can swing open right where the tracks used to run thru. I'm wondering if sumone put that fence there on purpose as a way to bark the grade ? Another thing I noticed is the the alarm box that alerted traffic to an approaching train as the track curved out into the center of 12 ave is now gone and just the pole remains. I wonder why it was taken down or if it was stolen.
