A friend sent me this from his collection of train orders he had gotten from Mershon tower. Apparently, GR87 was taking longer than my "quesstimate" to get out of Saginaw Yard, so I issued this superseding order to change the meet and advance SA88 to Alma. Nowadays, this would be easily handled over the radio. With the first Chessie rule book in 1980, we started using our own initials on orders and clearances instead of the those of the chief dispatcher. I was still working the extra board in 1980, so I must have been filling in for someone who was off sick or on vacation.
