Between inbound, outbound and respective locals servicing their customers in and around town there must have been over 20 trains a day?
Did the dispatchers from the other represented railroads share schedules and other info to make things run smoother or was there some friction between the individual operations?
Between the then auto industry, ag, lumber, chemicals, commercial bakeries, coal and other frieght it must have been nuts at times.
