Between 2000 and 2009, I made several fishing trips to the St. Mary's River and Drummond Island, often putting in upstream at Raber boating down river. I remember seeing a boat at this dock show up some time after 2002 but never got close enough to investigate what it was. Had I known it was a car ferry, I would have made it a point to get closer and get some photos. These images from Google earth show the Interlake Dock just NE of Detour village.



Imagery from 5/31/2005 shows the Arthur K. Atkinson tied up at the dock. It was not there in the previous imagery from 1999.



Imagery from 5/4/2010 shows the Arthur K. Atkinson moved to make room for the John Sherwin.



Imagery from 10/9/2013 shows the Arthur K. Atkinson removed from the dock leaving the John Sherwin and a barge. Most recent imagery from September of 2015 shows the John Sherwin still there with a larger barge.
