According to Mr. Meints (
Michigan Railroad Lines Vol. 1), the spur into Walloon Lake was abandoned in 1928 which would have eliminated the need for the wye unless there was a need to turn an engine there. 1993 imagery on
HistoricalAerials shows only the grade, no rails. 1959 topo data from the same site does not show anything, so it is almost a certainty that the wye was gone long before that.
