This fantastic image of a Pere Marquette at Fort Street Union Depot was recently posted on Facebook. It's in the Burton Historical Collection at the Detroit Public Library, one of the preeminent image collections of SE Michigan history.

The caption reads as follows:
View of Chesapeake and Ohio Railway train at Union Depot in Detroit, Michigan. Handwritten on back: "C & O train #5 in Union Station, Detroit, 3-19-49, 12:00 noon."

The C&O donut has proudly replaced the Pere Marquette rectangle on the nose, and besides a few substitute M&E cars at the headend, it looks to have a complete 5-car passenger consist behind.
