The East / Southbound ore empties CN L552 for the last 7 days has been coming by the house at Rudyard approximately 08:30 to 0900. It's normal time through Rudyard is 23:30 to midnight. It's not rare for it to come through it 0600 if it got delayed with shipping at the locks but this time of year after the locks closed on January 15th the railroad bridge remains down and no issues with ship traffic which leads me to believe they probably changed the schedule after seeing it 7 days in a row. This train does not normally use distributed power so both units are on the head end on its way back to Gladstone. So I said all that to say this. Daytime running with two units on the head end will make for some sweet photographs across the up all the way to Gladstone daylight hours FYI. If it starts coming again at midnight and stops running early a.m. through Rudyard I'll make another post but so far it has been 7 days straight. FYI
