Could not do any thing in my garden this morning. Not a downpour, but a soaker going on....so off the Escy. Heading in found a mixed freight with power heading under the highway bridge....slow. Kind of think that they were making mu a train to go west; cause I have never seen a mix like this going east. Probably did not want to block the street at the west end of the yard. Tack some more on the west end of the string, add a couple more units of power and drag the whole ball of wax up the hill. Just a guess.
Coming home, about noon, all gone. Don't want to take this is a fact, the the hoppers in the Gladstone yard were probably empties. Can't tell from the larger one, but the 5 orange one in the string did not appear to have loads....usually can see a hump.
Memory is not as good as it was last week, but the string of bulkhead loggers on the siding at Isabella seems to be changing. Was not smart enough to write down the numbers of any of them, but there were several pairs of short cars, WC loggers at the east end, give or take a couple of the normal longer units, and they seem to have been pushed west a half doz or more units. For what it is worth.......
