Just out of my vehicle at the Hardware store; heard the horn for the crossings. Jumped back in and took off for the River Road......and waited.....and waited. Crew must have stopped and walked to B.K. for lunch....or had a flat tire....or something. Finally, got out and walked to the rails to see if something coming. Yup. Not much though. CN2690 & CN2254 putt-zen along dragging about a dozen hoppers, a bunch of coil cars, a box or two, some logging flats (with lots of bark), and a car or two I forgot to make a note off. Might make it to the Soo by midnight.
