Calumet depot has never been a museum, it was privately owned for many years with no work done. A couple of years ago Calumet township purchased it. They did some work on it and did have an open house a couple of times. There is a GoFundMe page, but lots of money is needed to help it along. They would like to use it partially for a warming/rest stop on the snow mobile trail, maybe a place to eat, although it is out of the way.
