Should not ever say, I'll catch that on the way home. Did my thing at the hospital, stopped at the ACE, and pulled into the road to the depot....and it was gone. Previously saw on the main at the depot, a half dozen big hoppers, behind which was a strange yellow engine, and ?????
All gone. Still the three gons on the passing track, been there a couple of day. In the parking lot a large road tractor, a long low boy, and a really big "backhoe". Also a stack of brand spanking new panel track.....and another stack of bright shiny black ties, maybe six layers high.
Next time I let the doc wait. Gotta rubber neck first.
Oh, almost forgot. A string of mixed freight on the passing siding by the ex lumber mill. Could not get close enough to see....what.
And, off subject....been hearing what sound to my untrained ear...B52's. Sure wish they would come home. Miss them using my trailer in south Marquette, as a sight for their landing at K.I.
