The E&LS has been rehabbing a section of their mainline between the Michigan St. line & Wausaukee, WI. I was up there yesterday and got a look at a finished stretch of track near Beecher, WI:

They are still dumping ballast somewhere between Wausaukee and Amberg, WI. I got lucky and caught GP38 402 heading back to Groveland Mine near Randville with 13 empty jennies that the E&LS hauls ballast in:
