The L'Anse train runs with 30 + cars most of the time, it seems. They can't handle more than 45 or so cars(depending on the make up of the train) because the "yard" at L'Anse is basically a passing track between two grade crossings. Any more cars and they would have to put the excess cars at Baraga.
