yes, this is the Mineral Range Firesteel trestle on a rather bad day in May 18 1912. This would have been Train No. 92 a mixed train consisting of rock cars from the Michigan Mine, box cars and a combination coach. Nine rock cars fell through the trestle when the train stopped to pick up a log load at Simar. One was killed during the clean-up. This incident led to the inspection and condemning of other trestle along the line including the equally impressive trestle across the Laird Ravine.
