I enjoyed the 1970’s pictures of Ishpeming’s Euclid Yard that Mark W. Andersen posted on 4/4/2014 so I stopped by for a quick look last week. I didn’t have time to climb the high hill east of the yard to get the panoramic view. I just drove in as far as the private property signs and snapped a couple snapshots. The former Erie Mining Company engine that I understand is for the re-laid Mineral Range line to Humboldt is still parked near the office. The engine looks about the same as the pictures I saw posted on this group last year. A CN spreader was sitting there, too.
