The 1344 was tied up Southbound at Olson Road with maybe 40+ cars of which almost all were pulpwood:

Sounds like they will work Oconto Falls first tomorrow and then head to GB. OF has about 13 grain loads at the Co-op and maybe 2 loads of canned veggies at McDermid Warehouse. Stopped at Lena to get a shot of the loaded ore jennies. I'll bet they are the same two that have been hanging around Crivitz for a while:

Got to Crivitz and nothing was around. Was just getting ready to go farther north when the 402 and 1221 came rolling west over HWY 141 with a cut of 70+ storage cars. They pulled down to the south end of the yard and set out about 12 in the yard. Then the remaining 60 or so were shoved north of HWY W (Henriette St):

The units headed back out onto the Marinette Branch to grab another cut just east of the first St. Paul Road crossing.

After getting back on the main at Crivitz the conductor said they would be shoving 130 cars north to Wausaukee, which is about 8 miles. I think they ended up having to cut two crossings when they had the cars far enough north. The conductor also stated they would have to pull a total of about 500 cars off of the branch in order to access the cars they needed. Caught them at Smiths Creek Road as they shoved the 130 cars north:

Interesting stuff as the conductor was in an ELS truck and went from crossing to crossing to protect the shove. So, with 500 storage cars being put onto the main, we probably won't see any traffic from Upper Michigan for a few days. After this, I headed back home as I figured there probably wasn't anything going on around Pembine.
