The CTC signaling between Hoyt and Mt Morris dates back to 1928, although I think LSRC has replaced a few of the original signal heads. It was among the earliest CTC installations in the country. It's amazing that so many of them are still functional! The signals from McGrew south are "newer" -- some upgraded in 1972, some around 1978. A few places have the original signals when the CTC was first installed from McGrew south around 1960?? Plymouth south used to have old signals, but CSX has upgraded them.
