They in turn come out onto CSX, go east across the diamond, back west through the CSX siding and back out to the main line to get on the west end of the cars. They then take those back to Beck Road to tie on to their train they brought back from Osmer then goes back to Riddle Street north of town to get their CSX set off and returns to Ann Pere.
Once they return back to Ann Pere with their set off, they usually go back east across the diamond again, back their set off into the CSX passing siding, back east across the diamond and then west to the transfer train to get back on to their own line to back to Owosso. These moves, when cars are left at Riddle Street can be made many different ways. To answer the original question, they could have brought their train forward to the depot to drop off or pick up a third man, and then backed up.
