At the end (late '60s) of the NYC/PC time there was at least one other, if not two customers in Saline. There was a chrome parts company that received bagged gravel by box car. There was also a grain elevator in town, although I'm not sure when they stopped using rail service.
Currently, there is a short spur off the Saline branch at Industrial Rd. It is behind a company called Flatout INC. I think cars were stored there in the mid-90s, but I don't know what customer every used that spur. The Ann Arbor box car has been at the end of the branch for about 35 years... maybe more.
