LSRC Storing Cars in Flint

As I reported a few weeks ago, Lake State has been padding it's financial bottom line by storing a good amount of empty coal hoppers in Flint, some withing the confides of North McGrew yard, and a bigger amount within the extra trackage in south McGrew yard( south of Carpenter Road)...Now, they are storing a large amount of empty tank cars on the trackage that once served the Buick Motor Divison on the very south end of remaining trackage between Stewert Ave, to Hamilton Ave. These tankers are clearly visible if you are traveling southbound I-475 and look to the west as you pass over Leith Street. I would guesstimate that yesterday, there were at least 40-50 tankers in storage there, maybe more. There could be more car storage available if LSRC has "rights" to the Grand Blanc yard...something that I'm not sure was negotiated with CSX when they took control of the trackage to Plymouth early last year.
