Lake State #127 is leaving southbound in the next half hour per scanner traffic ....also, in Flint McGrew there are several empty bulkhead lumber cars today, destination unknown for now. McGrew is a relatively busy place lately...even a few overnight trains on occasion. A large train came inbound early a.m. Saturday that stretched from Stanley Road to Carpenter Road, a distance of about a mile and 3/4...not sure what this train was, or which direction it was going. Train was cut at Stanley for auto traffic movement. Lot's of yard action daily and the old Soo Line lease unit still here working daily. CSX is still operating the #711 Flint/Port Huron and return 6 days, but movement times varies. I haven't seen any grain movements lately, but fall harvest is nearly here. Only 1 St. Clare coal train all summer that I am aware of. That's pretty much it in a nutshell for now.
