Yes...something pretty new now with the PTC coming on line, every train that leaves for another destination has a 13 part manifest they have to read to the dispatcher before departure...it pretty much covers the entire train...included are things like locomotive numbers, fuel readings, horsepower per ton, PTC ensabled yes or no, key train-yes or no, plus the train length, loads, empties, length, tonnage, engineer/conductor names, on duty times, any work between destinations...I might have missed a couple. Quite interesting to hear it. Lake State is doing this, CN is too. I'm guessing its some kind of new FRA rule.
