I actually made it through the episode yesterday. Now that I have been away from it for a while, I kind of have a new perspective on it all. First, I don't even know who a lot of the characters are, and I don't know their stories. Yesterday a lot of vets were on, so that helped a bit. I thought that the writing was pretty lame. It was a medicore send-off for a really important character. I realize that they have tried to move Laura on, but her reaction didn't have the emotional punch that I would have expected to be worthy of that relationship. Tracy seemed more upset than even Bobbie. None of it moved me to tears (something I would have expected). What was the purpose of this? Couldn't they have encouraged Tony to do a Zoom? If not, a long letter saying goodbye from a deathbed would have sufficed. Are they going to build a story around it? I would have appreciated some flashbacks. Ah well. Nothing stays the same. There will never be another couple like LnL. Sigh!
Tracy is back and Luke is dead.
