Wow. That is great news. I'm so glad to know you are still around. Missed you. T
Dear J,
Congratulations to you and your wife and your new baby! You have a wonderful adventure ahead of you. May your daughter have a beautiful life, and may the two of you find her to be an endless source of joy.
With Love,
Ginger
Wifey and me welcomed our first child, a girl, 2 and a half weeks ago!
Purely by coincidence (or fate) our slow move through L&L’s playlist just so happened to land today on Lulu’s birth. Like Laura, my wife had a c-section (ours was planned). So you can only imagine the emotions we ran through watching Lulu’s dramatic entrance into the world.
When we first heard our daughter cry in the OR we both looked at each other and burst into joyful tears. This evening, the same thing happened as we heard Lulu cry, the memories rushing back to us. Watching L&L welcome their baby girl, as we watch on with ours in my wife’s arms, all of us holding one another. Surreal and profound moment.
Also, as Laura was losing blood, I say to my wife Laura needs her mother, that this was the first time I’ve really missed Lesley. And literally seconds later the flashbacks to Lesley pop up and Laura says “Bobbie? I want my mother”. Insane. I not only have no memory of seeing that before, but I also didn’t even recall that Laura had a c-section.
Also kudos to GF. Now having gone through this first hand, she KILLED her acting during the c-section. So true to how my wife was, down to the shaking from the epidural.
I hope all my old board friends are doing well.
