I view it a really different way. Luke is off-screen, so he can be anything we imagine him to be. In my mind, he has never not loved Laura and either can’t get back to her now—or won’t because of his insecurities and fear of hurting her. I think Luke’s goodbye had to be to Sonny because he could never have walked away from Laura. I believe the “Angel” letter said all we wanted it to, basically because of the look on Laura’s face when she received it. It held the promise of good things. We also don’t know the politics of what was going on behind the scenes when Tony left.

Sadly, that Luke no longer exists. He doesn't care now what Laura does or doesn't do. During his exit story it was as though he couldn't stand to be in the same room with her. For all we know the letter was a photocopy of his middle finger. lol

Thanks, Rose. Poor Kevin. Poor Laura! I'll watch, I'll watch.

I would pay for Tony to stay at the best hotel in Los Angeles and pay him one million dollars for one month of shows.

Remember how jealous he would get? So make him not like that Laura actually remarried for love. Make him mad and get up to his old manipulative Luke tricks to drive her crazy and happy. 4 weeks!
