Actually Robert has equally been presented as the great lobe of Anna's life and their original relationship was replayed in flashbacks when Finola joined the show. But at that point Robert was in love with Holly and then Duke came on for Anna. But the lasting love between Anna and Robert was an ongoing storyline and constant source of angst for both Duke and Holly. And once those two were out of the picture Robert and Anna reunited in what can be argued to be one of the sexiest scenes ever on GH. They remarried and were presented as always loving each other through everything. I would say with the exception of Luke and Laura - the love story of Robert and Anna has been one of the most compelling and enduring, even carrying over into GH Night Shift. But like everything this regime touches it has been tainted and ruined. I don't watch anymore because I hate the new version of Anna, hate the Heinrich story and an disgusted by the treatment of Genie just when I was starting to enjoy her story with Kevin. I adore Robert but have not tuned in for s single episode to see his return. I just can't. Like my Luke and Laura memories I now stick to my Robert and Anna on YT. If you have never watched their story - do yourself a favor and go watch. And so to the point of Anna sleeping with Luke - pukeworthy and blasphemous. Even worse than the Felicia mess.
